ios Nest app not showing current temp (celsius)

Hi, I have the Nest 3rd Gen Learning Thermostat and using the app on my Pixel Phone it works with no issues. My wife has an iPhone and added her to Home and once logged into the Nest app on her iPhone it doesn't show the current temperature of the room when Celsius is selected. When I  change it to Fahrenheit it shows the current room temperature. Switching back and again it doesn't show it. Living in the UK it's better to use Celsius.

Uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still the same issue. App version on her phone is 5.73.0

Thanks.

Thanks for reaching out to us here @Mohsin82 . I am sorry to hear about this and I would be more than happy to try and assist.

The app version is the latest from what I can see, so that is great.

Let us have a quick test using the web app version of the Nest app. On their device open the Nest Web app version using this link here. Have them log in and see what the behaviour is. This way we can confirm if this behaviour is just on the Nest iOS app or both.

Hi @AlexD , she tried the link and the website shows the current temperature ok in Celsius. When going back to the app it doesn't show the current temperature in Celsius.

Hi @Vladut , this is what is showing on the app.

Understood. If possible try adjusting the temperature to something lower or higher from the phone, just to see if the temperature shows up, in some cases when the ambient and set temperature are close it may not show up, so just to check for that.

Also, swap it to Fahrenheit as well and grab a quick screenshot, so we have that behaviour logged as well.

Hi there, just checking in with you. Did you manage to check my colleague's last message?

Hi @AlexD @Vladut  I checked her app again on her iPhone and when moving the slider a few steps down it then shows up with the current temperature. The same happens in Fahrenheit, I've attached screenshots to show. When moving the slider closer then the current temperature does not show.

The app on my phone ( Pixel Pro ) does not have this issue and shows the current temperature regardless of how close the slider is to the current temperature.

Could the next version of the iOS app be updated to show the current temperature as it does in the Android app?
