Hi, I moved to a new house, I have an old thermostat, I bought a nest 2020 thermostat, I plugged it in, it takes more than 2 hours to reach the desired temperature when cooling and heating, but it never reaches it. is my new thermostat compatible ?
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qcch0uia9szIgPx7eqMP7OWTtHnF6Wld/view?usp=sharing link to pics of my wiring.
my wires on my old system are wired like this:
blue -c
withe-o
yellow- y\w\e
red-rh\rc
gren-g
in the new thermostat, I connected the wires according to the principle of:
blue-с
withe-w
yellow-y
gren-g
red- c
Maybe I wired something wrong and that's why my new thermostat won't work properly?

Hi, @Diana6606!
Thank you for reaching out to the community. I'm truly sorry Nest Thermostat (2020) is displaying a message indicating it will reach the desired temperature in two hours, but after that time, it still doesn't reach it. I'm here to help.
To provide you with further assistance, please confirm whether you have a conventional or heat pump HVAC system. A heat pump system typically uses a single unit for both cooling and heating, while a conventional system uses separate units for air conditioning and heating. Based on your previous wiring configuration, the white wire in the 'O' terminal suggests you might have a heat pump system. If the thermostat is currently configured for a conventional system, this could be the reason it's not reaching the desired temperature. Identifying your HVAC system type will allow me to guide you through the correct wiring configuration.
Please keep me posted.
Best regards,
Ana
