nest losing power

My nest thermostat intermittently says it is losing power from the AC.  It will lose power for a little then the power will come back.  It seems to happen randomly.  Any suggestions for trouble shooting?

Do you have a C wire connected?

Does your HVAC stop working during these power outages?
