We have had several people look at our Nest thermostat - we think it is a generation three. Today, our HVAC guy bypassed the wiring, and was able to get the air conditioner and furnace to work. In any event, he says we need a new thermostat. A few questions...
Is there any way to repair this?
Is there a warranty on this thermostat?
Can you provide a new one free of charge?
Thank you!

Hi @dhs1
I would go through this Warranty Checker - Google Nest Help . This will help determine the best way to reach out to Nest and what your warranty is for your region and age of the thermostat. Hope this helps.

What a bunch of junk. The engineers must go out of their way to aggravate people. I expect nothing, I just want you to have this junk back. Honeywell is user friendly and a musch more reliable thermostat. Just send me a return label. You can throw these away upon receipt.
