Hello skjsming,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your Nest Thermostat installation. It can be frustrating when things don't work as expected. Let's troubleshoot the problem together.

Firstly, double-check the basics:

  1. Ensure that the wiring is correctly connected according to the Nest Thermostat installation instructions. Make sure each wire is securely inserted into the corresponding terminal.
  2. Confirm that your HVAC system is compatible with the Nest Thermostat. Some systems may require additional wiring or adapters.
  3. Verify that the circuit breaker for your HVAC system is not tripped. If it is, reset it and see if that restores power.

If you've checked all of the above and still have no power, you may want to:

  1. Test the voltage at the thermostat wiring to ensure it's receiving power. You can use a multimeter for this.
  2. Check if there's a common wire (C-wire) connected. Some HVAC systems require a C-wire for continuous power to the thermostat.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,
Mark
