HI,
I'm trying to set a MAXIMUM POTENTIAL temperature. absolute regardless of state.
so when little fingers turn the dial it WONT go above 'x'.
The 'guide' implies this can ONLY be done 'within a schedule' so the (heating) will have to be already ON.
-what about an ad-hoc cold day, you walk past the Thermostat and want to turn it to put the heating for a short while... this seems to have NO way of being turned up as much as the little fingers wish?
ie no way OUTSIDE a pre defined on/off schedule to set a maximum (and indeed minimum) range?

Hey NestUer,
Sorry for the delay in responding here, but I wanted to check in and see if you were still looking for help on this. Right now, there's no maximum limit setting for manual modes, aside from the thermostat's default maximum setting. I can see how that would be helpful to implement with the example you gave. If you would like, I can pass your comments along in the form of a feature request. If there's anything else I can help with, just let me know.
Thanks,
Jeff
