We finally have some warm days here, and the Nest is able to turn on my AC, but when I set the temperature to 85, it still turns on the AC at 80. I can't find a way to make it keep AC off until the temperature gets to 85.
One thing to check: What is your Nest's cooling Safety Temperature set to? (Look in Settings; there may be a temperature set there or Safety may be Off.) Possibly your Safety Temperature is set to 80 and that's overriding your program? If that's not it, I hope someone with more expertise can help with the troubleshooting!
