Apologies if this has been answered many times, I'd have thought it was a common question but can't find an answer.
I have a combi boiler located in the loft which is controlled by a wireless thermostat downstairs. Every installation video and compatibility check I see seems to point to Nest needing existing thermostat wiring (which I don't have), can I install a Nest thermostat or am I stuck with Hive which has an installation at the point of the boiler and wi-fi's to the Hive Hub and thermostat.
Many thanks.
