Installing a nest learning thermostat: This is the 4th different thermostat attempt
3 different- 3rd generations , could not get the battery reading above 3.1v
4th- learning thermostat- battery level 3.8v
had a c wire installed reading 25v at the t stat.
"hardwire" the r & w wires without the tstat -boiler , heat works fine
all connections and wifi are are reading properly.
have 2 more zones in home with nest t stats, work fine 2+ years
have reset app tstat and router with no luck
all four tstats will call for heat-cut out repeatedly
Baffling, any similar situations?

Hi there,
Thanks for letting me know. Possible that the common wire may not be properly grounded, so the system uses power sharing but still doesn’t get enough energy. Additional questions: are you getting any wiring reports or message codes? Also, could you please share with us a photo of your zone panel showing how you installed the C wire?
Regards,
Mark
