thermostat setting

The nest said it would monitor for three weeks and them set itself for more savings. Three weeks later and it said to okay, like a fool I did. Now the furnace fan hasn't shut off for three weeks which is expensive. how do I go back to where I can set the fan to run for 15 minutes an hour and set the humidity to what I want. This alleged saving setting is horrible. How can I undo this setting.

Hi brotherbob,

I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. I understand that saving energy is your priority, which is why you programmed it. Let's see what's going on. Did you create a scheduled temperature? If so, try clearing all the temperature schedules which might cause your system to run constantly.

Also, to control your fan settings. Please follow these steps here:

  1. Press your thermostat ring to open the Quick View menu.
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select Fan.
  4. Choose Schedule
  5. Set how long you'd like your fan to run per hour, or set it to always run.
  6. Select what hours of the day you'd like your fan to run. If you have a multi - speed fan, you can select a fan speed for your fan schedule.
  7. Select Done to set your schedule.

Your fan will turn on automatically each day for the time and duration you've selected.

Also, you can check this article for additional information.

Regards,

Jenelyn
