Each morning I wake up and the Google Home app notifies me that a new device has joined my network.
I've read this could be a device that's changing MAC address? Any tricks to figure out what this is?
All the devices I'm aware of are already on the network and named so I'm clueless here.
thanks.

I have that notification turned on for my network and can't recall the last time I got notified. Have you tried turning it off, leaving it a day then enabling it again? Random but it might be worth a try.

I was having the same issue. It stopped after I ensured all WiFi settings for each mobile devices (phones, tablets, & watches) were configured to NOT use a random MAC. Interrogate the advanced settings for each before having it connect again. Hope this helps.

I have the same issue.
At random times throughout the week - I suddenly get 37 of these messages.
There are 37 devices on my network.

Hi PeterGrrr,
Thanks for reaching out. I'd love to know more about this. When you get this notification, are you seeing any new device on your network? Also, have you tried the step that Juzdu provided?
Looking forward to your response.
Thanks,
Edward

Hi everyone,
Just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, I would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let me know.
Thanks,
Jeff
