The new Nest Wifi point is unable to connect to my existing wifi network after multiple attempts. I've been using a Google Nest Wifi router for a month and ever since I've lost coverage in my bedroom where I used to be able to use my SmartTV before when I had another provider's router.
I live in NYC.

Are you sure both pucks are made for the exact same region/ country? Mixing US and EU won't work for instance.
Other than that, try:
Here is a setup guide, just in case you haven't seen it already:

No, these didn't work. And both my "pucks" are US.

Hey, Blakkstarr.
I just wanted to jump in real fast to see if you were still having these issues. I can see that olavrb gave you some suggestions and you mentioned that things were still not working. Have you tried any additional troubleshooting steps from that point? Has there been any change at all in the situation? I'm sorry this has been such a headache, but I'm sure we can get this sorted out and working 100% for you.
Thanks.

Hey, Blakkstarr.
This actually looks to be part of a larger issue that we're tracking right now. I'm going to go ahead and escalate your issue to an internal team here and get some more eyes on the problem. Can you just confirm for me if this is the 2nd or 3rd point you're adding? I just want to have the details straight as I pass this along.
Thanks.

Also, Blakkstarr, you may have someone reaching out to you via email using the email address you used to sign up for the forums, so keep an eye out on that.
Thanks.

That would be super helpful!
Because I know the issue isn't my interner provider problem. Ive used Verizon for years in the same apartment with their router and my coverage has been spotless.
I live in a 1bedroom 800 sqft apartment with 1 Nest Wifi. I bought a wifi point because I lost coverage in my bedroom.

Ok, Blakkstarr.
Thanks for the added info. You're definitely in a situation where it should work well for you. We'll sort this out and get things working.
Thanks.

Hey, ArmoDriver.
It might be a good idea to start up a new thread about your issue so we can get a bit added visibility on that. In the meantime, I'll look into what might be going on there.
Thanks.

Hey, Blakkstarr.
Were you ever able to connect with support via email? Also, are you still seeing issues with things here? I wanted to follow up and see if things were still not working and to see if you were able to get any additional help from support. Just give me an update on this and if we need to keep troubleshooting we can.
Thanks.

I was not. I will need to return both the router and point. I had to get a Verison FiOS router and that is working fine in all my rooms.

Hi, Blakkstarr.
Sorry to hear that we couldn't get this to work properly for you, but I understand why you would go with a different solution. Hopefully that works out for the best in your situation.
Thanks.

Hi, everyone.
As we haven't had any activity here recently I'm going to go ahead and close the thread. If you have more to add, feel free to start a new discussion.
Thanks

any news on this. just happened to me last night. Internet was running slow. went to restart router and modem. lost connection from modem to router. had to reset the router multiple times unit it finally worked. however now, even with a reset, the wifi point no longer connects to the main wifi router. it is frustrating.
