We have had our Google Nest wifi mesh wifi with 4 router setup for while now. After a week or two, the system seems to start to slow down and exhibits issues that are particular obvious when using video conferencing, but we see lag in things like loading all of objects in the Netflix main menu and just grabbing and displaying what's basically just HTML content as well. The usual fix is just restart the network and that clears it up for a few weeks. But every 4-5 restarts, the system will go into a slow yellow blinking light and tell me that it connect to the internet.
The main router goes directly from the Verizon FIOS device to the uplink port via short patch cable. And the only fix to restore service is to do a factory reset on all of the nodes and preprovision the whole system. Needless to say this is pretty unacceptable from a system behavior perspective as well as a recovery method.
Anybody else run into this problem over and over again?

I did this a couple of months ago and while it helped with extending the time between network restarts and performance degredation, it didn't resolve the issues entirely and network still required periodic restarts to restore performance. And of course we still had the issue that occasional restarts would result in the routers going into slow yellow blinking light state and require full factory restart and setup.
In this last restart, I've left IPv6 disabled as well, so other than a couple of DHCP reservations and a single TCP port forwarding, no other options have been enabled.

Hey there,
Thanks for the update. Normally when a Nest Wifi router turns pulsing yellow, it means there is a network error. When you see a pulsing yellow light again, try connecting a device directly to the fiber cable and see if you will get internet. If you don't, it means there is currently an issue with your Internet Service provider. Let me know how it goes.
