Hello,
I have bought the 3 pack wifi pro 6E.
I will connect the router to a wifi modem via ethernet. But, do I need to turn off the ISP modem's wifi? The wifi pro router will be placed next to the modem. Is there a best practice for this? At the moment, the modem is the only wifi supplier in the house. The plan is to use the 3 pack wifi to extend the signal to cover more of the house.
Also, what is the point of the one pack? Why would someone buy just one (other than to extend a three pack)? How is it better than just the wifi from the ISP modem? This is a secondary question I would love to hear the answer to but the first one is the main concern.
Thanks.

Not disabling ISP modem routing and Wi-Fi functionality and having an additional router behind it, Nest Wifi in this case, is known as double NAT, and is not recommended. What you want is to bridge the ISP box, as in put it in bridge or bypass mode. More about that:

Hi @olavrb ! When I try to put the modem in bridge mode it says that my internet services with the provider will be discontinued. Do you know why is that?

No I don't. Ask or check for guides from your ISP on the topic.

Thank you, for now no. I'm going to set it up by the end of next week. So, if I have questions at that point, I will ask.
