I already have a Google Nest Router and 2 Extender Points.
However, connectivity down the end of the house is still week.
Can I buy another 2 pack (Google Nest Router and Wifi Extender Point) and connect them both as Wifi Extender Points to get complete coverage or does the router have to be connected via ethernet and used as a router?
*I am sure this question has been asked and answered multiple times but I have found conflicting information and want to be sure before purchasing.
Thank you

Hello @CJDALE
Nest WiFi Router units can be added as mesh/secondary points. I would caution that just adding more points may not solve coverage problems. Placing one in an area that currently has poor coverage is likely to be counterproductive, in fact, since they need to get a strong 5GHz connection for themselves. I would take a look at the placement of your current units to see if making changes there might improve things first.
The optimal placement has the primary unit (your existing Nest WiFi Router) as close to the center of your home as possible with any mesh/secondary units (e.g., your existing Nest WiFi Points) no more than one or two rooms away from the primary. Close enough that they get a "great" rating on a mesh quality test in the Google Home app. From there, they will provide coverage to more distant WiFi clients.
If you current primary is at one end of the house, then getting it located closer to the center may require running some Ethernet cabling.
I hope this helps!

Thanks, Michael!
That definitely answers my question!
I set up the extra router and point yesterday and it seems to have mostly improves the coverage.
Unfortunately my NBN, existing router and ethernet ports are all down one end of the house but I may need to look at getting them moved to centralise the router and improve coverage.
Do you know how much coverage (distance in metres) a router will get especially if linked to a extender point (or four!)?
Thanks!

Google claims a single Nest WiFi Router can cover 2200 square feet, while a Nest WiFi Router plus a Nest WiFi Point can cover 3800 square feet. But, that assumes optimal placement and either line-of-sight between Point units and the Router unit or, at worst, hollow-wall construction materials (concrete, brick, plaster, and lots of solid furniture are going to reduce coverage).
