I have an existing Nest Wifi system which does not work very well. My house is large and segmented, with brick walls, and I was unable to get the points working properly after multiple efforts. I have now wired several zones in the house with ethernet. I would like to add new routers to the system and not run any wifi points. Can I keep my current Nest wifi router as the main and add Nest Wifi Pro Routers as remote bases or do I need to upgrade all of my routers to Wifi Pro (even if I do not plan on having any wifi or Wifi pro points)?
