Can i use my Google and Nest mesh extenders with a multi-gig router?

I'll be upgrading to 2 gig service with Google Fiber.  Can I use my existing Nest and Google mesh extenders (dual band) with the new Google Wifi 6 multi-gig (tri band) router? Or do I need need to scrap them?

Multigigports should be backwards compatible to 1gbps (and slower), like 1gbps also works with 100mbps gear. So yes, it should work, might need a factory reset because of possible change of WAN IP. But it will only operate at 1gbps over ethernet.

I don't work for Google.
