Can't add Google Wifi points- incompatible network error

DanSuth

Hi, I recently purchased a Google Wifi 3 pack in Australia. The main router connected just fine, but I have been unable to connect the two points.

The error message I receive is "We noticed you have an incompatible network", but there is no further assistance within the google home app itself to rectify the problem. Can I fix this without having to reset the entire system?

If I reset all three pucks and connect them at the same time, will I lose everything I've set up within my google home account? Or does that remain the same?

Thanks for your help!

If you do a hard reset on the wifi, you won't lose your devices so to speak, but you will have to relink them to the new wifi that you will set up after the factory reset.
