I have a Google nest wifi router version H2D and am trying to delete an old IP reservation in settings using the android Google Home app. When I click the delete icon it just displays the "working" spinner forever. I no longer own the old device I am trying to remove the IP for (it died). I have named many known devices in settings, along with tweeking many other settings, so I do not want to do a factory reset. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I escalated the thread in hope of that Google techs would be interested in troubleshooting deeper, but they weren't, yet at least.
First make sure you are on the absolute latest Google Home app (I'm on v2.60.1.19). Try the procedure again, first while connected to the Wi-Fi in question, if it fails then while connected to mobile data only (Wi-Fi disabled). If neither helps:
Google support told me to tell you to try the following:

Thanks for trying to help. I believe I am already on the most current version of Home (v.2.60.40.2) on a Pixel 5. Tried again today, no luck - just endlessly spins. Tried most of your suggestions (1-4), but no luck.
A note on suggestion #4: I tried deleting an IP reservation on another device (Apple ipad) and it doesn't endlessly spin like my Pixel does, but instead gives a quick error stating "An error has occurred while updating your DHCP IP Reservations. Please try again in a few seconds". I have retried several times and always get the same error.
Just frustrating that when trying to do a basic network management function (manage IP reservations) the google Nest router doesn't want to cooperate. I really don't want to reset the router given I have named many known devices. If you could backup the router current configuration settings, and then restore it later (like many other routers can do) that might be helpful - but it appears that may not be possible on the Nest router.

Hi TomB67,
Thanks for the update. Could you power cycle your entire network by unplugging the power from your modem, Nest Wifi router, and Nest Wifi points (if any) for 2 full minutes.
Best,
Mel

Unplugged everything (modem, router, points) for 5 minutes. Tried to delete the IP Reservations - no luck, still acts the same.

Hi TomB67,
Thanks for getting back to us. You will need to factory reset your entire network and use the same network name and password so your devices can reconnect back once setup is complete.
Best,
Mel
