I have had a mesh network set up at home for about 3 years now. I have a Nest router and point, as well as 3x Google Wifi points. The Nest router is the main router, which is connected to my modem (in bridge mode). The Nest point and the 3 Google Wifi points are all set up as points. The 3 Google Wifi points are hardwired back to a switch, where they connect to the Nest router. This setup has been working perfectly for about 3 years.
Last week, I was having issues with one of my Google Wifi points. It was showing as offline, and I couldn't do anything to get it back online. I decided to try a factory reset. First I did the reset in the Home app. But then I couldn't add it back into the app. Then I looked up the hardware reset option, but that didn't work either. I have spent days looking up every possible hardware reset option, and I can't get anything to work.
At this point, it has been sitting plugged in for a number of hours. The light will go solid blue for about 15 seconds, then go off for about 1.5 minutes, then blue for 15 seconds again. Every so often, it will flash blue for about 2 minutes. This just seems to continue in a loop. When I try to add a new device in the Home app, it can't find it. I have no idea what is wrong, or what to do next. Can anyone suggest some things to try please?
