Cant add a 3rd Wifi puck into my Google Mesh network

Ive been having major issues trying to extend my Google Wifi network to my garden annex via ethernet cable to a 3rd puck/point.

My setup is an EE supplied 4GEE router into the primary Google wifi puck in my house. All is fine and I can add an additional 2 pucks, but when I try and add the 3rd via wifi in the house, no dice. I have tried various other 4GEE routers, the Alcatel 1st gen, the Huawei 2nd gen and even an unlocked Huawei B535. I run into the same issue again and again. The setup just drops and asks me to start again from scratch.

What I need is to have the 3rd puck in my garden annex as a stand alone wifi point for devices in the annex to connect to, but still connected to the home network. I have a 40 foot ethernet cable running from the primary Google Wifi puck in the house to the 3rd puck as the distance to too far to connect via wifi. The **bleep** thing still doesn't connect nor works as a wifi point. Nothing.....

Ive read people having 6 or 7 pucks so no idea why this doesn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated as i'm pulling my hair out trying different routers and combinations.

Did you buy all three at the same time? They are not bought separatly in different countries/ regions? As long as they're for the same region, it should work. Mixing US and EU units for instance, won't work.

Try setting up the third/ new/ last one while being next to the primary, use a short ethernet cable from primary LAN to third one WAN, or wireless. Let it update itself and reboot. Then turn it off, place it where you want and insert long cable, turn it on?

Do you get flawless internet connection if you connect a computer in the end of that 40 metres long cable, in the annex?

How can I tell if it's an EU or US puck? I would have bought it off Ebay so anything is possible......

Hey, IndustryStrand.

I just wanted to check in real fast to see if you were able to determine for what area your WiFi point was set. If so, did it help resolve your issue, or are you still having troubles with it? Is there anything else I can help you with right now? Please let me know and I'll be happy to help.

Thanks.

Hi, everyone.
As we haven't had any activity here recently I'm going to go ahead and close the thread. IndustryStrand, if you have more to add, feel free to start a new discussion.
Thanks

One way would be to try to set it up as primary in a new temp Google Home home network (disconnect your current primary for a while). Then navigate to http://192.168.86.1/api/v1/status from a connected device. Mine returns countryCode = Nordic.
