Chromecast con baja velocidad de wifi

Mi Chromecast tiene variaciones groseras de velocidad, varía de 200mbs a 5mbs en segundos.

Tengo 300mbs medidos en wifi en todos los dispositivos de la casa, incluso aquellos que se encuentran cercanos al dispositivo, pero el Chromecast es el único con estos problemas. Es imposible utilizar ninguna de las apps nativas con este problema

El problema comenzó hace algunos meses

Poseo un Chromecast HD

he probado desconectando y volviendo a conectar, tanto el chromecast como el router. También borrando y volviendo a cargar la red wifi

Nada ha funcionado, la falla persiste.
