I can't enable cloud services from the toggle. I tap Wi Fi and there is a green box below the latest speed test results: "Device List Unavailable - To see your connected devices and their network usage, turn on cloud services. I tap this box where it says "Turn on Cloud Services."
I get to Privacy Settings and the first thing is "Nest WiFi Cloud Services" and the toggle is off. I slide it on and it turns itself off one second later. I can't enable cloud services from the toggle switch. It turns itself off one second later. Help.
How can I correct this situation. I want the Nest Cloud services on.

I have the same issue, any luck solving it?

No. I’ve tried everything. My guess is I’ll have to factory reset everything, delete my home, and redo everything from scratch. If the error persists after that I’m hooped. Calling Google Home support didn’t help. No one at Google had an answer either.

Argh. I have same issue.

I asked Chat OpenAI about it. My main Google Router hooked up to the Cable Modem is an OnHub (Asus), not one of the newer Google WiFi or Google Nest routers. It suggests a recent firmware upgrade has ended support for cloud services on the OnHub routers, both Asus and TP-Link models. Do either of the people who replied have that hardware too?

So we eont have anymore cloud services,

Hello folks,
@Sunshine_Dave, thanks for posting. I’m sorry to hear you’re having this issue. Could you provide the case ID number of your interaction with our Google support? I’d like to check your case.
To everyone else having the same issue, a quick question: do you also have OnHub devices? If not, are you using the newer generation Google Wifi or Nest Wifi devices? I’ll wait for your update.
Cheers,
Abi

I only now realized that my issue coincided with the end of support for OnHub routers. The support at Google should have advised me I had only a few days before my router would be bricked. Very short lifespan for a very expensive router.
Is it true Google is offering a 40% discount on Nest routers to those who bought OnHub routers? If so, how can I redeem such an offer?

Hey Sunshine_Dave,
The OnHub to Nest discount promotion was sent out via email to OnHub router users back in late 2021. I see it's been a while since you asked about the promo, so I wanted to see if you were still looking into that or if you found your answer already. If you're still looking for some help, just let me know.
Thanks,
Jeff

I didn't get or overlooked the email to OnHub users. I only found out when I was searching for a solution to this problem. Is the discount promotion still being offered? I seriously doubt the email stated that the OnHub routers would be bricked in two years and hardware upgrades were mandatory to keep using Google Home. I had two such routers in two different homes. Anyone reading this send a link or let me know who to contact to get the discount on new hardware. Now, if you try to keep using an OnHub on an existing setup, you get a nag screen that can't be bypassed offering to factory reset the OnHub and remove it from your system.
