I´ve recently moved to a new house and now I need to extend my wifi setup. I have one Nest wifi router and one nest AP. I borrowed a google wifi router from work to see if I can extend my signal (and the purpose I've taken a google wifi router is so i can get an ethernet port at the end). And here (at the end) i will connect all my smart hubs, aqara,ikea,telldus.
So my setup should look like this:
Nest router->Nest AP->Google wifi router.
I have a very poor signal to my google wifi router so my question is:
Is my google wifi router connecting to the Nest AP, or is it connected to my Nest router? I guess it´s possible for my google wifi router to connect to an AP?

I'm using my phone so apologies for being brief. The units will connect directly if at all possible. So if that distant Google WiFi unit can get through to your Nest WiFi Router at all, it will. This why the best advice for optimal placement is to have the primary as close to the center as possible with secondaries one or two rooms away from there. They only talk to each other using 5GHz which doesn't go far or penetrate walls all that well.
