Connecting my server to wifi point

Hello Nest community,

I have a Nest Wifi router in the bedroom. Previously I connected my Synology NAS server to this router and all was good.  Then I had to move the server to a different room that doesn't have an internet outlet.

The server requires a direct Ethernet connection.  Can I use a second Google Nest WiFi point or a compatible WiFi extender to connect my server via Ethernet in a different room?

Hello @centerpieceType

You can use another Nest WiFi Router unit (set up as if it were a "point") or a Google WiFi unit (again, set up as a point) to do this. You cannot use a Nest WiFi Pro unit (those are incompatible with Nest WiFi), nor can you use a Nest WiFi Point unit (it doesn't have Ethernet ports).
