DDNS support for Google / Nest WiFi

Google / Nest WiFi really need to add support for DDNS such as No-IP.
What would the reason be not to add support?

Hello @Charl

I suspect there's only a small number of customers that would use DDNS, and most of them would need it in combination with a port mapping to an internal server that's listening for incoming connections. That server should be able to run a simple DDNS client as well. So, this isn't a direct reason not to support DDNS, but it's a likely justification for not making it a high priority. All of that said, if you want to see it, please use the "feedback" feature of the Google Home app to let Google know.

Hi, Charl.
I just wanted to check in real fast to see if you saw MichaelP's reply and to find out if you still needed any help on this. If you're still needing assistance, please just let me know and I'll be happy to continue helping. For now, as MichaelP said, it's a good idea to send feedback in so our internal teams can know what would make the product more useful to you.
Thanks.

As we haven't had any activity here recently I'm going to go ahead and close the thread. If you have more to add, feel free to start a new discussion.
Thanks
