DNS resolution failed for googlehomefoyer

I received a new modem and tried switching my Nest WiFi router to it. It would not work. I ended up performing a factory reset on the Nest. Now when I go to Set up device, I get “Nest WiFi router found”, I click next and get this error “DNS resolution failed for googlehomefoyer-pa.googleapis.com:443:UNKNOWN:nodename not servname provided, or not know”.  I have directly connected to my new modem via ethernet cable to verify I have internet service from my provider.

I have also seen suggestions to change setting in the advanced setting but I can’t access it without the set up being completely.

Help!

Probably a problem with the Google Home app. Could you try from a different phone or tablet? Google Home app, same Google account.
