Hi everyone,
I am having this problem with my mesh wifi point where every time I try and connect it everything goes through then on the last part it says like finish up final bits but then says this operation timed out and couldn’t be completed. I’ve factory reset gone right next to my google wifi router. I’ve done almost everything possible and don’t know what else to do please help!

Can you try with a different phone or tablet running Android or iOS/ iPadOS? Google Home app, same Google account.

Just tried it on another device same outcome. “This operation timed out and could not be completed.” I really don’t know what the issue is and it’s very frustrating. I appreciate the help thought

Thanks for the response. To isolate the issue, could you check if the Local Network setting is enabled for the Google Home app? You can find this setting by going to your phone's Settings > Privacy > Local Network.

Hey EdwardT,
I’ve tried multiple times to load that page and it’s not working.
I am using an iPhone.
I am not using a VPN.
I have a Cox panoramic wifi box that has both a modem and a router but I turned on bridge mode so it’s only a modem and use my google nest wifi router as a router. Now my google wifi point won’t connect and I don’t know why.
I also have the local network setting turned on as well.
Please let me know if you can do anything to help I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
