I moved to a new house and setup my Nest. It worked fine using the name of my old house. But I wanted to use the name of my new house.
So, I created a new house on the Google Home app and deleted the old house in the app. Now, I keep getting an error message that "something went wrong".
Other than the Nest, everything is new and working well. Why does Google Nest/Home app keep telling me to "ensure that my wifi and bluetooth are still enabled "? They are!
What else should I try?

Make sure you have no VPN enabled/ connected; not any 3rd party product, nor the "Apple iCloud Private Relay" ( https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT212614 ).
Make sure the Google Home app has permissions to "local network access" ( https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/7172427?hl=en ).

I've walked through the steps. And still no success. What else can I try?

Have you tried the Google Home app from a different iOS, iPadOS or Android device?
Have you tried to delete the app data of your current Google Home app installation? Eventually uninstall the app and reinstall it again.
What's between the Nest Wifi main puck you are trying to set up and the internet? Trying to figure out if you have double NAT, which might not work.

Yes.
I've tried from my smart phone innumerable times. And, from my tablet as well

I can't tell you how many times I've deleted and reinstalled the app... from both devices.

I had a Motorola modem between the Nest and the www...
I thought that might be an issue (even though it was brand new...).
But I had Xfinity come to see if there was anything on their end. There wasn't... but since he had a new modem/wifi on his truck, I had it installed. That didn't help my nest wifi either....

When I moved in my old nest seemed to work fine. But my problem started when I deleted my old home and tried to set up the new. Now I realize a simple address change may have done the trick. But here we are...

Hi Jeff,
I've been traveling and unable to further troubleshoot at home. I've returned today and tried. But, Olavrb's tips didn't work...

I've literally spent long hours trouble shooting, re starting, re installing, changing settings, and so forth. I'm nearly ready to return it all (including the thermostat) and start over with another platform.
Until now I was hoping to get the whole house "Googled -Up". But I'm concerned about all the time already wasted on simply trying to get the Nest Router going...
That said, I'm willing to give it one more try as I was hoping there was a simple fix.

The pucks you are trying to set up are factory reset and ready for adoption/ set up? I don't know if deleting a Google Home home will trigger a factory reset of those.

I've factory reset the pucks numerous times. Still get the same error message.

Hello,
I've factory reset my Nest Wifi numerous times. After resetting, the little light on the router is steadily white. Ive also uninstalled, then re installed the App numerous time.
When I have the app freshly installed, it finds the Nest router and asks if I want to set it up. I do...
So, I walk through the setup and keep getting the same error message.

Hi everyone,
@EdwardT, thanks for the helpful responses.
@Dave9999, thanks for getting back to us and sorry for the delay. Could you try to use another phone or tablet in setting up your Google Nest Wifi. Make sure that the other phone is connected to the setup network of the Google Nest Router.
Keep us posted.
Thanks,
Mel

Light is blinking white on the Google Nest WiFi devices.
And "yes", I can see both the setup Wifi and the wifi I named during the setup process.
