Deleting Devices

is there finally a way to delete unused devices off the network with the newer WiFi Pro? Lack of this ability was a disaappointing aspect of the previous nest wifi. I have over 26 devices in my list, and well over half of them are either guests, or unused wifi enabled items.

Hi @LadyMarah

The unused devices are supposed to roll off after ~30 days but we did have a known glitch surrounding this a while back.

I will check with the team to see if they have any more information.

Hello everyone,

Thanks for helping out here, @JillG

@LadyMarah, thanks for reaching out. I've clarified this with our Tier 3 team, who said that we don't have an option to remove unused devices at this time. Devices not connected to the network will automatically be deleted after 60 days of inactivity or if you factory reset your entire network.

You can send feedback to our product team if you wish to have the option to manually delete individual devices connected to your WiFi network. Visit this link for more information and let me know if you have other questions or concerns.

Sincerely,
Lovely
