both routers run hot, over 110F at times, and the connections to both become intermittent and drops during streaming movies or playing xbox. The real problem is the 2nd mesh router point is lost from the main nest almost always, sometimes 3 times a day and drops everything from that side of the house. Lately it is becoming worse since the mesh test says the point is too far away from the main router even though it has been the same distance for 2 years and has never had a problem and is only 20ft away.
Fun part is I have to unplug everything every couple of days now and obviously That is a problem.
any solutions except for escalating to Google support?

Hello ntrino,
Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry for this experience.
If you haven't already, please factory reset your entire Wi-Fi network and set it up again. Observe if there are any improvements with your network and let me know if the issue persists.
Keep me posted.
Best,
Lovely
