I am reposting this as my previous thread is unresolved and locked up. I can't reopen it. I followed the instruction to set the DNS value for primary and secondary to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 respectively. I am not sure that is helping me. I am still getting occasional dropouts of my devices from the primary wifi network. I have to move the device constantly to guest network which works. The quality of the google/nest mesh is unacceptable. Though I see claims that it can support up to 200 devices, it is already choking up at 20 in our house.
Whenever my computer get disconnected from internet, I see couple of different messages under the wifi page:
Wi-Fi is connected to XYZWifi and has the IP address gd03:5f9d:g334:0:1c5d:4f37:917f:ac2e (both wifi name and IP address are changed for privacy)
XYZWifi has a self assigned IP address 169.253.194.35 and will not be able to connect to the internet (both wifi name and IP address are changed for privacy).
Any clue on what is going on?

@Jhonleanmel Hi thanks for your instructions earlier. I am not sure it is helping me. I am still getting my laptop dropped out from primary. Not sure it is related to the previous issue.

Hi bpans,
Can you check your advanced network in the Home app to see if you have IPv6 enabled? If you do, try disabling it and see if it has any impact on your situation. If it's already disabled, let me know and we can look at more troubleshooting options.
Thanks,
Jeff

It is not enabled. I confirmed by checking the setting.
