Has anyone found a simple solution to getting devices that will only work on a 2.4 GHz band to connect with a Google WiFi router since it has a dual-band (2.4 + 5) ?
My ISP gave us a Google WiFi router when they upgraded us to fiber. I can't find any way to separate the bands online or with the Google app.
There doesn't seem to be a way to temporarily shut off the 5GHz to connect initially, and many devices won't connect to a dual-band. I'd prefer not to add more hardware just to make it work, but . . .
Thanks
