Do I have to (factory) reset my Google Nest WiFi router & meshes when I change Internet Provider?

Hello all,

I am switching to another telco/fibre broadband service provider, getting a speed bump 😊

Do I have to factory reset (all) my Google Nest and meshes? or can I just simply plug the main Nest Router into the new Optical Network Router (ONR) (comes with the vendor fibre broadband)

Thank you!

Hi @iamensignw00

You should be good by connecting the modem to your current setup.
It could be you need te give your network a reboot but a factory reset shouldnt be needed. 😊
