Hi,
I have nest wifi router and 2 points.
One of the points sits in a room far from the router.
In the middle there is another point.
The one in the middle had great connection.
The far one is always weak or disconnected.
It seems that it tries to connect to the router and to the point that is near it.
This is how it supposed to work?
I thought that as other mesh devices they receive and transmitted wifi.
Am I doing something wrong?
Can I make the far point connect to the middle one?

Hey folks,
@bananaslug79, thanks for the help.
@Kubeb, the Google Nest Wifi points do connect to your main point.

The points only mesh to the main router unfortunately. To get what you're looking for, you'd either have to move the router to a more central location (may not be possible due to where your service modem is) or you'd have to use the Google Wi-Fi system and hardwire them all together.

Can you please confirm that all points connect with router and not with each other?

That's my understanding, yes. I also found this out the hard way and ran new cabling to get better mesh performance throughout our blocky old home.
