After unexplained loyalty to Google home wifi (starting with Mesh, then moving to Nest) I just assumed that mesh systems were slow, unreliable, required frequent restarting, wifi points disconnecting at random times for no reason at all. Imagine my surprise when I painlessly installed an Eero system and all these wretched, day-disrupting events instantly went away! It's as if Google sold me a crappy product with no firmware upgrades and a slick but empty interface (Google Home, one of the worst uses of Material UI I have ever seen) and then abandoned it! I mean hey, it's not like I and my wife need stable wifi to do our jobs or anything.
I cannot believe a company the size of Google has a core product this bad. It makes me look askance at my Pixel 6 now.

I've had 2x Google Wifi since 2017, then replaced by Nest Wifi routers since 2020. Home office since the pandemic started. I've never had stability or connectivity issues. So your milage may vary, is what I'm trying to say.

We had no problems up until there was some kind of upgrade that changed everything. After that it was one of the most unreliable systems I have used. So your mileage may vary but the odds aren't great.

Yes, I'm in the same boat. I'm thinking I need to upgrade to a company that actually supports their products. It's dropping 4 or 5 times a day for 10 minutes at a time. My wife is interviewing via Zoom and the wifi drops out.
Zero support or response from Google. Frustrating beyond belief.
