Error KGSKErrorDomain error -83902 while setting nest point on entire new WIFI in a new country

I have been moving from one county to another often. Last two set-ups (after factory-rest) worked perfectly for years. This time I have moved so I have new WIFI modem and provider. I managed set the google Nest router after factory reset. When I started with the NEST point all setup and conneting is done well but when its trying to setup google assistant with this Nest Point then error mrssage is: "The operation couldn't be completed. (kGSKErrorDomain error -83902.)  "

I tried some troubleshooting, after searching online, tried to check my email, language on my phone English(UK) are correct. Did a number of factory reset on Nest point. I even did reset of Google Nest router and the nest point, but same error again. My nest point shows offline now, as its not set properly yet.

Please help me.

Thanks,

RituN

Thanks for the additional information @RituN .

This is likely a setup issue caused by default iPhone/iOS settings enabled by Apple; these are changes made since you last set up the Nest Wifi. Please see the below article to assist with the setup issues:

Please let me know if this resolves the issue or if further assistance is needed.

Hey @RituN .

In what country were the Nest Wifi purchased in?

Hi PatrickP_Viking, I purchased Google Nest in Denmark used for 4 years, moved to France and it worked perfectly in France for 3 years. Now I’m back in Denmark… and my Nest point is not installing/ configuring properly.

Hey @RituN .

What device are you using to set up the Nest Wifi?

Hi @PatrickP_Viking ,

I’m setting first Nest point in the set of router + 2 points.

Hey @RituN .

Apologizes for the confusion...I meant what kind phone are you using?

I am using iPhone 11 with Google home app.

Thanks for the additional information @RituN .

Hi @PatrickP_Viking ,

Thanks for your help. I have finally set my WIFI on Google NEST sets. but with a twist. I observed during erroronious setting process (on iPhone) as a mention of - region as Denmark and language as English is not supported. Maybe this has been change/been-removed recently, as 3 years ago these two combinations worked perfectly for me.

In the end, I started a fresh setup with google home app on my iPAD : BUT I changed language to ENGLISH (UK) and region to United Kingdom. Then all setup was perfect.

Maybe you can inform Google-Home app team about this issue.

Thanks a ton.

RituN.

Hey @RituN .

I'm glad you were able to get things set up.

I'll relay the information to the Google Team to pass to the Developers. My assumption is that the language(s) that show are connected to the official language of the country it is being set up in. The fact that the other options showed up eventually is odd; it could be a glitch, a code error, a conflict between the phone and Nest Wifi, an iOS issue...or any number of things. Nonetheless, it definitely needs a further look.

Let me know if you need any additional assistance.

@RituN

Can you advise what version of iPhone, iPad, and iOS is running on them? The information will be helpful to the Dev Team.
