Tried varied combinations of three to five wired backhaul Nest Mesh routers in my large home with a number of obstacles to wifi transmission. It was fine for a year or so, but then all sorts of weird behavior began from smart devices, and after repeated factory resets of individual points and the entire network and moving about of access points over a period of several months failed to remediate my connection issues, I bought three Asus XT9 routers to replace the Nest Mesh routers. Setup is considerably complex with the Asus devices, but after managing my way through the learning curve, I've arrived at a stable, reliable home network again.
