Hi Wpscheff
Our teams are aware of an issue where the Google Home app built-in internet speed test results may be lower than expected for internet connection speeds faster than 500 Mbps. We're working on a fix to be rolled out in an upcoming software release-- please stay tuned to this thread for updates. We'll continue to monitor the comments and keep our team informed of the impact to you and other customers.
With that in mind, the speed test issue does not impact actual system performance. If you have an internet connection with speeds greater than 500 Mbps, we suggest using an alternate speed test app from your phone or computer.
Best,
Mel

I have had the reverse, my Google Home speed test on my iphone 11, shows 524 download and 14 upload. However, using the same device, I went to google.com on my safari browser and searched for "speed test". When I use that speed test, my download speed is 32 and my upload was 2.2.
Why am I having two different speeds on two different tests, but it is on the same device?

Hey Chestnut,
It's been a while since we engaged on this and we've even had some app updates since you last posted. Are you still seeing this same result, or are things more in line with expectation now?
Thanks,
Jeff
