Google Home mini and config of ynm wifi net

Hey !

The WiFi net seems to start up automaticly. Is it configurable (removable)? If so where in the Google App ? ( I’ve looked everywhere)

The Mini WiFi has the same channel (6) as my Home router, and seems to make to much noise, and therefore make problems…

Certainly, when the unit is set up with the WiFi network, they will always be connected to the network that will be available.

However, in the same way, it is not normal behavior if you are experimenting with a lot of noise when the unit is connected; we can check if we can find a solution for this situation.

To better assist you, could you confirm:

• How long did your device work as intended before experiencing this symptom?
• How often do you experience this symptom?
• Is the device physically damaged?

Hey ! Thanks for help so far..

The mini seems to start interfere when I got a new router from a new provider. It worked ca. 3 years without problems. 

The device is not physically damaged.

I experience this almost every day, but mostly at night, and only once or twice a day.

The Mini regularly seems to cut/interfere the router WiFi signal to a Smanos house alarm 50cm away, which is on the same WiFi net . When I watched all WiFi’s nearby I saw that the Mini had turned on its WiFi net .ynm on channel 6 every time Smanos lost communication with Router.  Channel 6 and frequency is quite common for WiFi-distributors.
I had to reconfigure Mini to default and even restart the Router to make it work.

I will try to move the Mini away from Smanos and Router to see if it make it more stable.
 The Mini may send out a too strong WiFi signal only for configuration purpose…?

The mini interfere with the WiFi auto config. xxx.ynm on channel 6 in the whole room. 
I have tried to move it, but your effect output is too strong, ie up to -50 dB.

Please give an instruction how to avvoid this interference from your product. That means turn off auto-set WiFi off.

The Google mini still interfere with my Router WiFi after moving the mini.

Can yoy change the WiFi channel in the mini ? 
Can you guide how to turn off the xxx.ynm net permanently ?
