Hello.
I have a Google Mesh system with 3 nodes (Model# AC-1304).
One is connected to the internet router, one is in the middle of the house, and one is blinking orange.
The one that is connected to the router and the one in the middle of the house work fine, and provide coverage for most of the house.
The 3rd one used to work, but now just blinks orange. I attempted a factory reset on it (unplugged, held the factory reset button down, plugged in until it blinked blue, and released the button). After waiting for it to stop blinking blue, about 45 secs or so later it starts blinking orange again.
Can anyone think of anything else to try?
Thank you.

What light mean:
How to factory reset (it has changed on latest firmware):

Hi olavrb,
I used both of those pages to figure out how to factory reset the wifi point yesterday, specifically the 'Factory reset your router or point with the factory reset button on your device\Google Wifi Point' entry. Since there was no way to find out the firmware version, I tried the first set of directions (holding the button down for 10 secs which should start the process). This did nothing, so I tried the second set of instructions which works up until step 3 where it never turns a solid blue, it reverts back to a blinking orange.
Thank you for your time!

If it has been powered on and working after july 2021, it's on the newest firmware.
If you don't think about the 10 seconds at all, just hold the reset button until the light is solid blue, then release it. Doesn't work either?
If that does not help, I'd consider the puck pie. Depending on where you live and how long it is since you purchased it, you might be covered by warranty.

It's been at my mother-in-law's house, so can't say when it started flashing orange. I held down the button for some time while it was plugged in, and nothing happens. It looks like I can only do the reset when I hold the button and plug it back in.
I'm sure it is out of warranty though, but thanks for the help.

Hi folks,
@olavrb, thanks for the help!
@RogaDanar, I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with one of your Google Wi-Fi points. I'd like to follow up on this. Were you able to get your Google Wi-Fi point to reset to factory defaults?
Thanks,
Edward
