I've restarted my modem and verified that it is working; I'm able to connect from it using an RJ45 cable and tested it on multiple devices.
I've restarted my modem and verified that it is working; I'm able to connect from it using multiple RJ45 cables to multiple devices.
I've restarted my Google Nest router several times and it keeps slow flashing yellow indicating a network error. The wifi was working fine all evening until I noticed I was on mobile data at around 11:40PM. I've been trying to troubleshoot this for hours and the only ting I haven't tried is a factory reset. This isn't the first time it's happened; it's at least the 2nd time in about a year's time.
2 questions:
Why does this happen? and
How can I prevent it?
I'd rather go without food, water and shelter than without internet (because with internet, I can order food, water and shelter!). Yes, I have internet, but it's tethered and my family has many wireless/mobile devices such as cameras and plugs that are critical to our daily routines.
Help!

See this suggestion:
Summary: reset the modem while Nest Wifi is powered on and plugged in.
