Google Nest Router

So yesterday I had to disconnect the TV n Router to be able to set it on the new TV stand . After doing this I cannot get any internet connection to any devices and the light on the router stays on Yellow n blinking slowly. Tried resetting n checked Modem but nothing is helping! IPS checked n stated the modem is receiving good signal. So the issue is with the Router. Can anyone help??

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that you don't have a connection before the power outlet. I'm happy to help you!

At the moment , i'd like to ask some questions about this:

  • What kind of Nest router do you have?
  • Has your primary Wifi router been set up before, or is it new?

In the meantime, please kindly try to do these troubleshooting below:

  • Check if the Ethernet cables and modem are properly connected
    • Make sure the Ethernet cable provided is connected to the LAN port of the modem.
    • Verify the Ethernet cable from the modem is connected to the WAN port of the parent point.
  • Use a different Ethernet cable
  • Perform a 2-minute power cycle
    • Disconnect the power from the modem.
    • Disconnect the Ethernet cable and power cord from the parent point.
    • Disconnect the power cord from the child point.
    • Leave everything unplugged for 2 minutes.
      • Connect the power to the modem, then wait up to a minute until the modem fully powers on.
      • All light indicators must be solid colors.
    • Connect the Ethernet cable, then the power cable to the parent point. Wait until the parent point is fully back online.
    • Connect the power cord to the child point.
    • Verify if this works
