I set up my google nest Wi-Fi for the first time earlier today. It was working and set up fine, then had an outage for no apparent reason (modem still had an internet connection, so just Nest specific). I’ve unplugged it, done a network reset, factory reset, and unplugged my modem as well as Nest router for a couple minutes per the initial setup instructions. I can’t even get the Google Home app to recognize the device anymore. The lack of support for this thing given the apparent finicky functionality is unacceptable. Please provide a fix asap.

I’m having the same issue today. WiFi xfinity router is working fine - blazing fast on the speed test yet the mesh network is not connecting at all. I’ve deleted out the home & tried to do a fresh set up & nothing. It’s beyond frustrating.

good luck with that. these google wifi pucks are absolute garbage and these google community leaders will just keep stringing you along saying there is an update but no timetable. Save your money and your time. Go with netgear Orbi.

I’m past using google wifi anymore. I Bought it 5 years ago. Is there sort of refund I can still get for it?

Hi Heyyitsjay,
I'm sorry to hear about that. The warranty of your Google Wifi is 1 year from the date of purchase. I'm sorry that this might not be the answer that you're looking for, but we don't have an option to get a refund. Let us know if you have other questions and we'd be happy to assist you.
Thanks,
Edward

Hey guys, for anyone that’s in this thread or for anyone who comes across it, I could tell quickly that Google customer support has no power over the issue and their development team clearly makes this a no priority issue (whatever, I guess they’re Google and they have more important things to worry about). Anyway, I couldn’t afford to have recurring Wi-Fi issues so I promptly returned my Google Nest Wi-Fi and bought the Netgear Orbi. I’ve been up and running for a couple weeks with no issues. Don’t waste your time with Google Nest Wi-Fi’s crappy product!

Hi, wladykam.
I'm sorry to hear that we weren't able to find a solution for you on this. I understand why you went for a different product with your situation. As you went with a different product, I'll go ahead and close up this thread. Hopefully the new solution works out well for you. If there's anything more you need down the line, please feel free to open a new thread.
Thanks.
