Google Nest WiFi H2D

For unknown reasons, I cannot open a port on a device that is definitely on the network. It simply does not appear in the ip list, but it is pinged. It is very inconvenient when you have an iron with a static IP, not to see it in the router application. Maybe there are some ideas how to do it?

Hello znachok88,

Thanks for posting here in the Community.

A few questions: what device model are you having issues with? Is it connected to your Wi-Fi network? What troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Please ensure that the device and the Google Home app are up-to-date. Try to forget the Wi-Fi network that it's currently connected to and reboot it before reconnecting it to the internet. Check if the device is not showing in the app and try to check if you can now open a port for it.

Keep me posted.

Cheers,
Lovely

Hi znachok88,

Have you tried the troubleshooting steps that I suggested above? Please let me know if that helped open the port of your device or not, so we can try something else.

Sincerely,
Lovely

Router model: Nest WiFi H2D. Software: 14150.376.32 The device I'm trying to wake up the port for is running on ethernet on the same network, it's a Dahua NVR, it has a static ip address and I don't see it in the port wakeup section at all, even though it's working fine. I will add screenshots of the router and programs.

Hey znachok88,

Thanks for the additional information. Please check if you have the latest Google Home app installed. See if that lets you open the port on your device. If not, try using another phone or tablet to see if that helps.

Best,
Lovely
