Google Nest Wifi Router + Point Microphone Muted

Hello,

I have my microphone muted on the Google Nest Wifi Router + Point, however this causes it to constantly tell me that I have it muted,

Is there anyway to stop this from happening? as I know it's muted, but don't want it going off every time to tell me (Since it's muted on purpose) and it gets annoying at times when it goes off at night

Hi TJsy48,

This can happen when there is a bit of dust or dirt in your mute switch. Try turning the switch off and on a few times to see if that might clear any dust that is in there. If you can visibly see any dust, try cleaning it by blowing it out, using a tiny amount of cleaner (just to wipe it off), or compressed air. Since these devices product a bit of warmth while working, they can attract a bit of dust. If that doesn't work, let me know.
