I used to be able to play Sirius XM through my google nest wifi points. That stopped working months ago (I haven't had time to troubleshoot). I see lots of locked threads on this issue, but could not find an actionable answer on how to fix. Sirius XM is linked under "radio" in google home and it is an active subscription. When I say "Hey Google, play 80s on 8 on Sirius XM," it repeats the command back, saying: "Playing 80s on 8 on Sirius XM," but it does not play it / no sound comes out. I have rebooted the nest router as well as the nest points. I have confirmed with Sirius XM my subscription is active and includes streaming. I also am unable to cast from the app to the nest point...it just goes into an infinite loading loop. Please help!

I am having the same issue! I thought it might have been device related, but I tried it on multiple devices in different locations. I hope this is corrected soon.

Hi @alejandom , thanks for responding. I have a Google nest WiFi system purchased in 2020. It consists of a router (model H2D) and 3 WiFi points. The system works great with no issues except that it will not play Sirius XM any more. This function previously worked no problem. I have the Sirius XM Music & Entertainment package. As I mentioned, it’s an active subscription and includes streaming (not streaming only). No issues with my WiFi system / network. Everything is working properly. No recent changes to my home network or devices that could have impacted the Sirius XM integration (that I”m aware of).

If it’s relevant, Apple Music will stream no problem.

I use a Nest Hub. Active Sirius subscription. No changes to Wi-Fi setup. I unlinked and relinked SiriusXM in the Home app. Not working on any devices, and I checked in 2 different locations, home and work. Same issue in both locations across multiple devices, Nest Hubs and Minis.

Thank you, I tried those steps and no luck. All other streaming services still work as before, and I'm having the same issue with Sirius in multiple locations, not just one.

Thank you. The SiriusXM works fine on other devices with streaming, so I'm confident it isn't an account issue. And other streaming services continue to work with my devices. The message I get is "I looked for channel ### (whatever channel I ask for) on SiriusXM, but it is either unavailable or can't be played right now".

No, but last week it started working only if I asked for the name of the channel, not the channel number. I tried this morning and it was working when I asked for the channel number like it used to.

Having the same issue, unlinked and linked again, nest just keeps saying my subscription has run out which it hasn't. Sirius worked fine with google up to a few weeks ago.
