Google Nest Wifi

Hi I bought a google nest wifi router with 1  add on point several years ago for my 3 storey house and it worked great until recently when I had wooden floors put down (no idea why this matters but it does!).  The router is placed on the middle floor and I had to move the add on point to the ground floor to get coverage.  I now need another add on point to help with the top floor where there is no signal.

The add on points have been discontinued so I need to buy another off ebay, but I mainly see US versions being sold.  If mine is not US version will it still work?  Alternatively I can get a Virgin point for free as I am on Volt but I don't want that messing up my google system.

Any thoughts please?

Hey @AngelaM .

You will have to buy a point that is for the same region that you live in. The devices are regional specific due to regulations and laws. Alternately, you can add a Nest Wifi point to the Google Wifi and it should work without issue.
