Google Nest system will not connect to the Interne

My new Google Nest system will not connect to the Internet. I have created the network and tried many times rebooting but it never connects. It also has never asked me to name the network or create a password for it during any of the setups?

To confirm, what kind of Nest product are you trying to setup? Nest Wifi?

Nest Wi-Fi, 3 units. I keep getting the message 'WAN settings are incorrect'. Right after I scan the QR code the app goes straight to connect to internet, it never gives me the screen to input the name and a password.

I have rebooted so many times, always the same non result. Must be the BELL 3000 modem/router combi at the root of the probem? Tried each of the three pods, changed the ethernet cable, don't know what else to do?

It's up and running now thanks to help from a friend. Basically we unplugged the ethernet cable from the WAN socket on the modem combi and plugged it into one of the LAN's.
