Google Nest wifi pro not beaming any 6GHz connections

Hello, I just recently purchased a 3 point Nest wifi pro system, set everything up properly (after watching countless reviews and guides) and got them all on a wired backhaul with newly installed Cat6 cables just for the mesh, the main router is connected to my ISP's router (already set to bridge mode) and the points are conencted using an unmanaged switch, but even after enabling WPA3 security, deleting the network and connecting again I'm not getting any wifi 6e signal on any of the points, already did all the troubleshooting I could find on the nest community and reddit but none of it has worked, none of my 6e devices would pick up any 6GHz signals from them, used a galaxy S24+, Iphone 15 pro max and my desktop PC with an intel AX210 wifi card.

any help is appreciated!

Hi @SaucerX!

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that your Nest Wifi Pro is not broadcasting a 6GHz signal (Wifi 6E) and your 6E devices aren't picking it up. I appreciate your efforts in taking those steps before. I'm happy to help you!

To help me find the best solution, I'll need to ask you a few questions:

  • When you attempt to connect with your 6E devices (S24+, iPhone 15 Pro Max, PC), do they see the Nest Wifi network SSID at all?
  • If they do see the network, are they able to connect successfully to the 2.4GHz or 5GHz bands, but just not see or connect to the 6GHz band?
  • Could you also provide the make and model of your ISP's modem/router, even though it's set to bridge mode?
  • Is the Google Home app up to date?

Please keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.

Best regards,
Geremi

Good evening Geremi, all of my devices can detect the SSID from the routers and connect to the 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz bands, tried looking for the 6Ghz channel using wifi analyzer apps but no wifi signal is picked up on the channel(even when I disconnect the Ethernet cables and just let them communicate wirelessly).

My Google home app is updated and the ISP router is from Huawei.
